Churchill Home Insurance

Churchill insurance was one of the first direct motor insurers in the United Kingdom.  Originally launched back in 1989 the company have gone from strength to strength.  Starting out in 1990 selling home insurance, they have progressed over the years and now offer a wide range of other insurance products which include motorcycle insurance, breakdown cover, van insurance, pet insurance, travel insurance home insurance and car insurance.  Their fantastic advertising campaign has certainly made Churchill a household name over the years.  Probably best known for their TV advertisements with the Churchill dog saying ‘Oh Yes’.   Churchill are based within the United Kingdom and all their call centres are based within the United Kingdom and sell insurance policies both online and over the telephone.

As with many of the insurance companies Churchill offers online discounts, and as a customer of Churchill you too could benefit from one of the following offers;

•    No claims discount for named drivers on the policy (this is for use when they take out their own insurance policy with Churchill).
•    A help line for accident recovery, which is open 24 hours per day (this is available on comprehensive insurance policies only).
•    An online offer of up to 10% off your car insurance when you buy online.
•    When you use one of Churchill’s approved repairers following an accident then the repairs are guaranteed for 5 years.
•    On the comprehensive cover only you can expect to receive personal accident cover, which covers the policyholder and partner or spouse.
•    Following an accident on comprehensive cover – medical expenses will be covered.
•    New for old – if your car is less than 1 year in age and is not repairable, as long as you are the registered keeper and first owner of the car you can expect to receive a new car to replace your old one.  
•    The comprehensive cover will also cover for any personal belongings in the car (this is subject to a certain limit).
