The Post Office have moved on immensely in the latter few years, expanding their list of products and services to include finance, insurance, broadband and phone services, travel services, business services and of course letters and parcels.  They cover a range of travel services one of which is travel insurance.  You can also get your passport application checked via the post office for a fee of £8.00.  They will ensure that your passport application is correct, your passport application will be sent via Special Delivery, plus you can track your application form online.  

They also offer foreign currency for over 70 currencies on a 0% commission basis.  They can offer home delivery on currency or you can collect this from the branch, delivery is free on orders which are over £500.00.  You can also opt for their Saturday delivery service.  On top of these travel products and services, they offer their customers a good range of travel insurance.  If you choose their travel insurance you can expect to benefit from the following:

•    Choice of multi-trip travel insurance and single trip travel insurance.
•    Their comprehensive travel insurance cover is easy and quick.
•    As a customer you can be covered for one trip, from 1 day up to a maximum of 90 days.
•    They cover all ages and children are covered free (children include grandchildren, niece and nephews).
•    Cover for up to £1,500 for any personal possessions such as mobiles, laptops and MP3 players.
•    Cancellation cover of up to £5,000 which is valid for up to 2 years before departure.
•    Medical expenses of up to 10 million pounds is covered for when travelling outside of the United Kingdom.
